The lever revolves and becomes static with the weight of the load. The user can then take the reading displayed on the meter.

2.     Digital Scales: Digital scales are used for getting accurate measurements. They take the weight of an object and display the measurement in a digital format. Digital scales have replaced analog scales as they give very accurate measurements. They are used in pharma sectors, post offices and even in hospitals to weigh just-born babies.

3.     Shipping Scales: Shipping scales are weighing machines which are used for weighing bigger loads and are used mainly in transportation, shipping and airlines. These scales measure objects in ounces as well as pounds.
